Cape Town

Fly to Cape Town and enjoy a three night hotel stay where you’ll relish the chance to explore this fascinating city and embark on a Cape Peninsula tour.

Drive along the wild Atlantic coast all the while admiring the views of the iconic Twelve Apostles before exploring Hout Bay. Wildlife encounters await at the Cape Point Nature Reserve, home to baboons, rhebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland. Returning to Cape Town, you’ll visit Boulders Beach, famed for its colony of waddling penguins; Fish Hoek fishing village; and the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens.

Stellenbosch and Winelands Tour

The next part of your adventure takes you to the renowned Winelands region for a fabulous hotel stay and an exquisite tour.

Explore Paarl, surrounded by mountains and vineyards, where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and cellar tour at a local estate. From here, you’ll continue on to Franschhoek, where you’ll stop for lunch, as well as savour a further wine tasting. More world-class wine awaits in Stellenbosch, the historic heart of South Africa’s wine region. Enjoy a final wine tasting here before returning to your hotel.

Cape Town - Embark The Blue Train

Following your stay, you’ll climb on board the iconic Blue Train for a journey to remember to Pretoria. The route from Cape Town to Pretoria is a journey of nearly 1,000 miles passing through some of the most diverse scenery on the African sub-continent. On the route you’ll also enjoy an offtrain excursion at Matjiesfontein, with its Victorian buildings and original nineteenth century London lamp posts, before reaching Pretoria where you’ll disembark and transfer to the fantastic Bakubung Lodge for your safari stay.

After your flight to Zambia, you’ll settle into the David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa on the banks of the Zambezi River.
